BINDER is a family business dedicated to simulation chambers and the world’s largest specialist in simulation chambers for the scientific and industrial laboratory. More than 22,000 units leave the plant in Tuttlingen annually. The focus lies in the perfect simulation of biological, chemical and physical environmental conditions for a number of industries. The BINDER logo’s three red triangles stand for: superior products, best service package and professional consultation. We supply products to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and food industries, as well as research institutes. Our climate chambers are used by the pharmaceutical industry to test the shelf life of medicines under various climatic and lighting circumstances. These chambers can simulate a vast range of environmental situations with controlled humidity, temperature and light, in order to test the resistance of drugs and how these conditions affect their properties. For laboratories working in the medical sciences sector, a high precision temperature environment is crucial for the storage and incubation of cells. In addition to serving the electronics sector, our industrial applications department also primarily serves customers in the automotive industry.
As of May 2022, we have been officially certified in the areas of environment and energy by meeting ISO standards 14001 and 50001. This means the company satisfies exceptionally high standards with regard to the rational use and saving of energy, while actively and demonstrably promoting environmental protection.
