Description
OPTIZYME™ DNA Pol I is a template-dependent DNA Polymerase that catalyzes 5'->3' DNA synthesis, and exhibits 3'->5'-exonuclease, 5'->3' exonuclease and RNase H activity.
Applications and Features:
- OPTIZYME DNA Polymerase I labels DNA by nick translation in conjunction with DNase I.
- Second-strand cDNA synthesis in conjunction with RNase H.
- Incorporation of modified nucleotides (e.g., biotin-, digoxigenin-, aminoallyl-, fluorescently-labeled nucleotides).
- Active in buffers for OPTIZYME restriction enzymes and reverse transcriptases.
Supplied with:
10X OPTIZYME DNA Pol I Buffer: 500mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5 at 25°C), 100mM MgCl2, 10mM DTT
Source: E. Coli cells with a cloned polA gene for E.Coli
Quality Control:
Endodeoxyribonuclease-free
