The Human Stem Cell Lineage Differentiation Package contains the key components required for the differentiation of stem cells into various cell lineages. The package contains the following three vials: 100 μg Human VEGF-165, 100 μg Human TGF-beta 1, and 100 μg Human/Mouse/Rat Activin A. VEGF-165 is a vascular endothelial growth factor that has been shown to be the fundamental regulator in the cell signaling of angiogenesis. TGF-beta 1 is a polypeptide member of the transforming growth factor beta superfamily of cytokines. Activins are dimeric growth and differentiation factors that belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of related signaling proteins.

VEGF-165 (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor 165) is a key protein used in stem cell differentiation, particularly in the development of endothelial cells, which are essential for blood vessel formation (angiogenesis). VEGF-165 binds to its receptors on the surface of stem cells, activating signaling pathways that promote their differentiation into endothelial cells. By controlling stem cell differentiation with VEGF-165, researchers can improve the integration and functionality of transplanted tissues.

TGF-beta 1 is a polypeptide member of the transforming growth factor beta superfamily of cytokines. It helps regulate proliferation, cell differentiation, adhesion, and migration in many cell types. Many cells have TGF beta receptors, and the protein positively and negatively regulates many other growth factors. In the context of stem cell differentiation, TGF-beta 1is particularly important for inducing the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) into chondrocytes, osteoblasts, and myofibroblasts.

Activins are dimeric growth and differentiation factors that belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of related signaling proteins. Activin A is a critical growth factor used in stem cell differentiation, primarily for directing the differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into definitive endoderm and mesoderm lineages. The precise control of stem cell differentiation using recombinant Activin A is essential for developing specific cell types.
