The Gibco Expi293 PRO Expression System is a complete solution for rapid, high-yield protein production from HEK293 cells. It is a fully integrated expression system designed to deliver higher yields of a wider variety of proteins—including challenging and low-yield proteins—with exceptional speed, efficiency, and an easy-to-automate protocol. Producing increasingly complex proteins with higher yields and increased throughput is critical to accelerating breakthroughs in protein research applications and drug development.
The Expi293 PRO Expression System features include:
- Unlock new protein targets; express challenging and low-yield proteins
- Exceptional protein yields; multi-fold increase in protein yields—up to 5 g/L

The components included in the Expi293 PRO Expression System Kit are: two vials of frozen Expi293 PRO cells, one liter of Expi293 PRO Expression Medium, one Expi293 PRO Transfection Kit sufficient to transfect 1 liter of culture, Opti-Plex Complexation Buffer, and an antibody-expressing positive control vector. All components of the Expi293 PRO Expression System are also available for individual purchase.
