Thermo Scientific X4TR Refrigerated Centrifuges with GreenCool Technology pair enhanced sustainability with high performance and versatility. The centrifuges are equipped with an easy-to-use, full-color touchscreen user interface. They make programming easy for quick results and allow easy access to track runs, rotor life, and centrifuge health. With up to 4L capacity, they allow spinning 196 blood tubes, 40x 50mL conical tubes and 96x 15mL conical tubes. Maximum versatility is achieved with 18 available rotors to choose from and Thermo Scientific Auto-Lock Rotor Exchange to quickly change between applications. Available for purchase individually or in convenient application-based packages. Cell culture packages include the centrifuge, rotor, Thermo Scientific ClickSeal Biocontainment Lids and a set of four 15 mL and 50 mL conical tube adapters. Blood processing packages include the centrifuge, rotor, ClickSeal biocontainment lids and a set of four 5/7 mL and 9/10 mL blood tube adapters.

Enhanced sustainability:
- Thermo Scientific GreenCool Technology features a next-generation natural refrigerant (R290) cooling system, which reduces environmental impact with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3, while not contributing to depletion of the ozone layer and is compliant with EU and US EPA F-gas regulations
- Green Mode compressor on/off feature with shut-down programming can extend compressor life and reduce energy costs
- Scheduling features promote energy savings and enable pre-programmed start-up of the centrifuge as soon as you arrive in the lab
- Thermo Scientific Fiberlite Rotors weigh up to 60% less than metal equivalent rotors and therefore accelerate/decelerate faster translating into reduced energy consumption per run
- Windshielded rotor options, including the Thermo Scientific H-Flex HS4, BioShield 1000A and HIGHPlate 6000 Rotors, enable users to spin tubes, bottles, and plates at higher speeds with less energy than non-windshielded designs
- Manufactured in a certified zero-waste facility using 100% renewable electricity in Osterode am Harz, Germany

- Biocontainment certification by National Institute for Health Protection, Porton Down, UK or TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, Germany for selected rotors
Rotor versatility and Fiberlite carbon fiber rotors:
- Up to 18 rotor options, including Fiberlite carbon fiber rotor options, to help maximize performance and flexibility
- Fiberlite carbon fiber rotors are supported by a 15-year warranty and no limitation in cycles of use
- Carbon fiber offers ability to mold each cavity to fit disposable conical tubes, bottles, and other consumables
- Thermo Scientific TX-1000 High-Capacity Rotor has excellent application versatility with a variety of sample containers (bottles, conical bottles, conical tubes, round bottom tubes, blood tubes, microtubes, microplates, blood bags, and cell culture bags). Expand options with use of the BIOLink adapter (75007304), which opens up 17 additional adapter configurations
