Forberig fødevareprøver før isolering af Salmonella -arter med Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Bufret Peptone Vand klargjort flaskemedium. Bufret Peptone Water er et ikke-selektivt præberigelsesmedium.
Low numbers and/or sub-lethally injured Salmonella cells may be present in a test food sample. Pre-enrichment in non-selective Buffered Peptone Water allows the cells time to repair and multiply before being introduced into selective culture, improving the chances of recovering Salmonella species from the sample.

The test sample is added to Buffered Peptone Water at a ratio of 1:10 and incubated at 37° ± 1°C for 18 hours and 2 hours.
