Chemical barrier tape tested against 95 chemicals

DuPont™ Tychem™ 2000 Tape – Flexible, Chemical Protective TapeA chemical tape with Tychem™ 2000 level of protection and secure adhesion to improve the safety level of PPE. It is typically used as a connection between Tychem™ gloves and Tychem™, Tyvek™ or ProShield™ protective garments of Category III. It can further be used to tape the hood of a Category III protective garment to the mask, the ankles to the boots, and the zipper flap.

  • Certified according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425 (inactive)
  • PPE Category I
  • Chemical protection against inorganic acids and bases
  • Permeation data available for 95 chemicals, allowing comparison and match between the protection level of the chemical protective garment and the chemical glove
  • High elongation for better and smoother seal
  • Optimum level of elasticity and adhesion
  • Can be used with Type 3, 4, 5, 6 garments in less demanding chemical exposures
