Applications
Tri-n-butylborane is used as a reactant for addition reactions for synthesis of phenyltrialkylborate salts, boron-based multicomponent reactions for generation of substituted aziridines, oxazolidines, and pyrrolidines, Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling of halopurines with trialkylboranes for the synthesis of adenosine A2A receptor antagonists, multicomponent C-alkylation reactions with aromatic aldimines, one-pot alkylation-boration and electrophilic substitution.

Not miscible or difficult to mix with water.

Keep container tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers. Incompatible with oxidizing agents.
