Description

Activator of hFFA2-DREADDs

Sorbic acid is an activator of hFFA2-DREADDs. Inhibits forskolin-induced cAMP production (IC50 ∼ 1 μM) and promotes accumulation of inositol monophosphates (IC50 >1 μM) in cells expressing hFFA2-DREADD. Promotes the release of GLP-1 from colonic crypts derived from hFFA2-DREADD-expressing mice.
