Beskrivelse

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: OTP; IFNT1; IFNT3; IFNT4; IFNT7; IFNT8; IFNT9; TP-07; TP-08; TP-010; IFN-tau-3; IFN-tau-7; IFN-tau-8; IFN-tau-9
  • TP-1 belongs to the alpha/beta interferon family.
  • It is primarily responsible for the maternal recognition of pregnancy.
  • TP-1 interacts with endometrial receptors, probably type I interferon receptors, and blocks estrogen receptor expression, preventing the estrogen-induced increase in oxytocin receptor expression in the endometrium.
  • It is constitutively and exclusively expressed in the mononuclear cells of the extraembryonic trophectoderm.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
