Description
Thermo Scientific™ Quantech Digital Filter Fluorometer Narrow Band Filters allow you to choose the best excitation and emission wavelength ranges for your fluorescence experiment. Narrow band filters allow a narrow range of light to pass through the filter -- delivering the selectivity you need for accurate fluorescence assays.
Narrow band filters can be used to excite fluorescence or to measure a very small window of fluorescence emission. To select the proper filter for your assay, use the following guidelines:- There should be no overlap between the Narrow Band excitation filter and the Sharp Cut emission filter
- A portion of the fluorescence excitation (absorption) spectrum near the peak falls in the wavelength range transmitted by the Narrow Band excitation filter
