For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 μg, 10 μg and 20 μg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase. This PIP5K1C recombinant human protein (full length) was expressed in insect cells. PIP5K1C recombinant human protein is also available in our SelectScreen™ Kinase Profiling Service. PIP5K1C lipid kinase or phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase 1 gamma phosphorylates phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate to form phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. PIP5K1C is found at synapses and has been found to play roles in endocytosis and cell migration. PIP5K1C directly associates with β-catenin and increases β-catenin activity downstream of growth factor stimulation. PIP5K1C expression and kinase activity enhance β-catenin phosphorylation on residues that promote nuclear importation and transcriptional activity. PIP5K1C deficiency impairs neutrophil recruitment as a result of defect in adhesion. PIP5K1C regulated the adhesion through facilitation of RhoA GTPase and integrin activation by chemoattractants.
