Recombinant Protein

For maximum recovery please spin prior to use. Unless noted below, aliquots of the 5 μg, 10 μg and 20 μg sizes of kinase are not recommended as materials can be used in original packaging until exhausted. For larger sizes, the number of freeze/thaws may be reduced by preparing aliquots, aliquots below 20 μL are not recommended. Please never store a kinase diluted. If properly stored at -80C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase. This OXSR1 recombinant human protein (full length) was expressed in insect cells. OXSR1 serine/threonine kinase or (OSR1) is activated by osmotic stresses and regulates downstream protein kinases such as PAK1 in order to establish the sensor/signaling modules that initiate the cellular response to environmental stress. OXSR1 can be phosphorylated by ATM or ATR during the DNA damage process. It regulates downstream kinases in response to environmental stress, and may play a role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton.
