By measuring 25 analytes simultaneously, the assay panel provides more data from each sample, saving costs and time. This assay may be run alone or in combination with other select Luminex singleplex kits. Suitable for use with Luminex 100™/200 and FLEXMAP 3D™ systems.

The Human Cytokine 25-Plex Panel for the Luminex platform provides reagents for the accurate, reproducible, and sensitive quantitation of human proteins including: GM-CSF, Eotaxin, IFN-α, IP-10, IFN-γ, MCP-1, IL-1β, MIG, IL-1RA, MIP-1α, IL-2, MIP-1β, IL-2R, RANTES, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, IL-10, IL-12 (p40/p70), IL-13, IL-15, IL-17, and TNF-α Luminex xMAP™ technology—effective and proven analytical tool
The Human Cytokine 25-Plex Panel is based on xMAP technology. The use of a suspension bead–based technology enables the multiplexing capabilities of the Luminex assays. Polystyrene microspheres are internally dyed with red and infrared fluorophores of differing intensities. Each bead is given a unique number, or bead region, allowing differentiation of one bead from another. Beads covalently bound to different antibodies can be mixed in the same assay, utilizing a 96-well microplate format. At the completion of the sandwich immunoassay, beads can be read using the Luminex 100/200 and FLEXMAP 3D™ detection systems, instruments based on flow cytometry, two lasers, real-time digital signal processing, and xPONENT™ software to distinguish bead color (analyte) and assay signal strength (PE) fluorescence intensity.

The Human Cytokine 25-Plex Panel has been validated using the same rigorous criterion that distinguishes Luminex assays. Each kit supplied with a product insert that outlines the specifications for each marker in the assay. Standard curves are generated for each lot of product to assure quantitation consistency.
