Beskrivelse

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • OCSTAMP is very strongly upregulated during osteoclast differentiation.
  • It is a multipass transmembrane protein that is highly conserved in mammals and has little homology to other proteins.
  • OCSTAMP cooperates with DCSTAMP in modulating cell-cell fusion in both osteoclasts and foreign body giant cells (FBGCs).
  • It is involved in osteoclast bone resorption and promotes osteoclast differentiation.
  • OCSTAMP may play a role in multinucleated osteoclast maturation.
  • The OC-STAMP insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
