This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: rrg; TSC-160; AI893619
  • LOX belongs to the lysyl oxidase family of proteins.
  • The secreted proprotein is proteolytically processed to an active mature peptide and a propeptide.
  • This propeptide is thought to function in tumor suppression by inhibiting the Ras signaling pathway.
  • The active enzyme plays a role in cross-linking of collagen and elastin and is essential for development of cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and development of skin and connective tissue.
  • Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different proteins have been described.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
