Koumine up-regulates the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio and caspase-3 expression in human breast cancer cells. Koumine has anxiolytic, antistress, antipsoriatic, and analgesic activities, protects against the development of arthritis in Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) animal models.
