The GeneCatcher gDNA Blood Kits allow rapid and efficient extraction of genomic DNA (gDNA) from human blood. Genomic DNA is extracted from blood samples using the cost-effective, user-friendly magnetic bead based GeneCatcher™ Technology without the use of centrifugation.

  • Purity suited to highly reliable downstream processing
  • Validated in many applications, including restriction endonuclease digestion
  • Second generation multiplex and single tandem repeat (SGM+STR) profiling and quantitative PCR
  • Optimized and designed for scalable and automated gDNA isolation from large blood samples using Tecan Freedom EVO liquid handler
  • Fully scalable chemistry in batches of 8
  • High purity and yield of extracted genomic DNA yields between 300μg - 500μg per 10mL sample
