Description
Description: This ILCID2 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse and human ID2. This ILCID2 antibody requires Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer set and will perform poorly when used with standard IC Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Set and protocol. Applications Reported: This ILCID2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This ILCID2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes using the Foxp3/Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Set (Product # 00-5523) and protocol. Please refer to Best Protocols: Protocol B: One step protocol for (nuclear) intracellular proteins located under the Resources Tab online. This may be used at less than or equal to 1.0 ÎĽg per test. A test is defined as the amount (ÎĽg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ÎĽL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Excitation: 488-561 nm; Emission: 578 nm; Laser: Blue Laser, Green Laser, Yellow-Green Laser
The inhibitor of DNA binding 2 (ID2) protein is essential for promoting the development of a number of cell types including natural killer cell, erythroid precursors, as well as, CD8+ and CD4+ T-cell. A lack of ID2 promotes B-cell development. The chief role of this protein is to associate with ubiquitously-expressed E proteins, and other proteins of the basic helix-loop-helix (HLH) family, preventing them from binding to DNA and activating transcription. Activation of ID2 is critical for the development of the natural killer cell lineage.Specifications
