Beskrivelse

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • Also known as: HDMX; hdm2; ACTFS
  • MDM2 is a nuclear-localized E3 ubiquitin ligase.
  • It can promote tumor formation by targeting tumor suppressor proteins, such as p53, for proteasomal degradation.
  • Overexpression or amplification of this locus is detected in a variety of different cancers.
  • Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different proteins have been described.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
