Beskrivelse

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • The CLEC16A insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
  • CLEC16A is a member of the Ctype lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily. Members of this family share a common protein fold and have diverse functions, such as cell adhesion, cell-cell signaling, glycoprotein turnover, and roles in inflammation and immune response.
  • Single nucleotide polymorphisms in introns of CLEC16A have been associated with diabetes mellitus, multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different proteins have been described.
