Description
ApplicationsHistamine inhibits the synthesis of IL-2 and γ-IFN in peripheral blood mononuclear cells and lipopolysaccharide-induced synthesis of TNF-α in monocytes via H2 receptor activation. It is a powerful stimulant of gastric secretion, a constrictor of bronchial smooth muscle, a vasodilator, and also a centrally acting neurotransmitter.
Solubility
Soluble in water, alcohol, and hot chloroform.
Notes
Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Recommended storage temperature: -20°C Hygroscopic. Handle and store under inert gas. Air sensitive.
