  • Operates in one of three modes: wick based electrophoresis; pre-cast horizontal gels, isoelectric focusing
  • Unit dimensions (D x W x H): 41 x 46 x 11.5cm
  • Inner tank dimensions (D X W X H): 31 x 37 x 8.5cm
  • Electrode frame ( L x W x H): 27 x 27 x 1cm
  • Temperature for cooling plate during IEF with IEF gels: 4°C

  • Safety lid with integral power leads
  • Shrouded power connectors
  • Long life 99.99% pure replaceable platinum electrodes
  • Gold plate terminal with stainless steel washers to resist corrosion
  • Printed grid - permits migration rates to be measured
  • Integral cooling coil - allows for either recirculating chiller or for water connection to chill ceramic plate to desired temperature
  • Large cooled ceramic top plate - provides uniform cooling of gel platform
  • Two sets of electrodes
  • Tank mounted - for running 'wick' gels using the lower buffer chambers
  • Detachable
  • Hollow frame - for IEF where strips are placed directly onto ceramic plate
  • Glass bottomed frame - for pre-cast horizontal gels
  •  Buffer drainage ports - inbuilt shut-off valve is opened when drainage tube is connected to empty buffer chamber
