With the help of the E1-ClipTip Software Upgrade Kit, you can update the software of your non-Bluetooth E1-ClipTip pipette (with software version 1.27 or older) to enable connection to the Thermo Fisher Cloud and My Pipette™ Creator app.

E1-ClipTip Software Upgrade Kit is intended for original E1-ClipTip pipettes with software version 1.27 or older. By purchasing this kit and upgrading the software, your E1-ClipTip Pipette will be able to connect to the My Pipette Creator App.

The Software Upgrade kit consists of:

  • a USB cable
  • a license code
  • software upgrade instructions

The My Pipette Creator App allows you to program your pipette from the comfort of your PC and to download ready-made, customized protocols from the cloud. Transferring programs to your E1-ClipTip Pipette can be done via micro USB cord included in the E1-ClipTip Software Upgrade Kit.

To check the software version on your E1-ClipTip Pipette:
Go to Main Menu > Settings> Product Information > the Software Version will be listed at the bottom of the screen.

If the software version is 1.27 or less, the E1-ClipTip Software Upgrade kit will be necessary to connect to My Pipette Creator.

One Software Upgrade Kit per E1-ClipTip Pipette.

If the software version is 1.28 or newer, then your pipette is already enabled for connection.
