Description

Dextransulfat anvendes som en nukleinsyrehybridiseringsaccelerator. Polymerens evne til at udfælde fibrinogen og lavdensitetslipoproteiner fra plasmaopløsninger er blevet brugt til analyse og til antikoagulerende anvendelser. Dextran Sulfate Sodium (DSS), som har vist sig at have alsidig værdi i biomedicinsk/klinisk forskning. DSS kan bruges til at studere colitis (inflammatorisk tarmsygdom) såvel som et antiviralt middel.
