General Description
• Cefsulodin sodium is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with a narrow range of effectiveness
• Cefsulodin competitively inhibits penicillin binding protein, preventing cell wall synthesis and promoting lysis
Application
• Cefsulodin is mainly effective against Yersinia microorganisms, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus
• Cefsulodin is useful for drug resistance studies involving susceptible microbes and for studies related to drug mechanisms
• It is appropriate for selection experiments and other cell culture applications
