- An animal origin (AO) acid hydrolysis of casein
- This supplement contains low salt and iron content making it an excellent supplement for media formulations where nitrogen requirements are minimal
- It is successfully used in fermentation applications for pneumococcal, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, and zoster vaccines
- Maintains many of the nutritional benefits of hydrolyzed casein, but is further supplemented with growth factors, cystine, maltose, and an optimum amount of iron and inorganic salts
- Bacto Casamino Acids have been used to support the growth of Bordetella, Corynebacterium, Pseudomonas, Haemophilus, and Escherichia species
- Together with Bacto Yeast Extract, technical, this supplement has been successfully used in the production of animal and human health vaccines
- Store in cool, dry conditions in well-sealed containers at 2°C to 25°C
