The kit is designed for high-throughput isolation of gDNA from 1 buccal swab, 50 to 350μL of whole blood, up to 400μL urine (without sample concentration), up to 150μL saliva, 1-5mL mouth rinse, blood spot cards, and mammalian tissue samples (up to 10mg). The protocols and magnetic bead format make the kit fully amenable to automation
  • Benefits of MagMAX Magnetic Bead–based Purification Magnetic beads offer many benefits compared to other technologies for isolating gDNA. Beads bind gDNA more efficiently than glass fiber filters, resulting in higher and more consistent gDNA yields.
