Activated Carbon, Granulated ±3mm, Chem-Lab
Beskrivelse
Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is a form of carbon processed to have small, low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions. Granular activated carbon (GAC) has a relatively larger particle size (and, therefore, smaller external surface area) compared to powdered activated carbon. GAC is suitable for adsorption of gases and vapors, because they diffuse rapidly. Granulated carbons are used for water treatment, deodorization and separation of components of flow system and is also used in rapid mix basins.
