Invitrogen™ AAV Polyclonal Antibody
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Brand: Invitrogen™ PA14106
Description
PA1-4106 detects adeno-associated virus. PA1-4106 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. The PA1-4106 immunogen is a mix of synthetic peptides corresponding to residues T(75) P W G Y F D F N R F H C(86) of major coat protein VP3 [AAV 2], residues E(278) G G T N L L Q F P H V(289) of capsid protein VP1 [AAV 6], and residues 277-288 of capsid AAV 3.
Adeno-associated virus (AAV) is a small virus which infects humans and some other primate species. AAV is not currently known to cause disease. The virus causes a very mild immune response, lending further support to its apparent lack of pathogenicity.
