Applications7-Chlorokynurenic acid sodium salt is used as a Potent competitive inhibitor of L-glutamate transport into synaptic vesicles. It is also used as an NMDA receptor antagonist and inhibitor of EAAT.
Solubility
Soluble in water at 100mM
Notes
Store at room temperature (desiccating conditions). May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
